Mercy Day
In the fresh greenness of a late Dublin spring, forty members of nine Mercy leadership teams from around the world gathered in the days between Easter and Pentecost, rejoicing in our shared charism and daring to roll away stones and buy spices.
In her paper : Forgiveness – A Work of Mercy Newly Relevant in the Twenty- First Century, Margaret A. Farley, rsm, poses a very challenging question regarding what actions to choose that are possible or feasible.

Sisters of Mercy have been ministering in Panama for over 50 years as twelve sisters from Brooklyn, New York, responded to the invitation of the Vincentian Fathers to join them in their ministry.
This week, Ireland is celebrating “Africa Day” with week-long activities involving poetry readings, music, and dance. In conjunction with these festivities, we are choosing to highlight the ministry of Sisters of Mercy in Nigeria.
