It is very heartening that Mercy sisters from around the world are taking collective action for Advocacy on behalf of our Earth home, the whole community of life and future generations.
MIA is actively involved in the 50th International Eucharistic Congress which will be held in Dublin in June 2012. MIA is actively involved.
I want to express appreciation of the very clear presentation given by Tanya Jones in relation to the issue of fracking.
With their theme, “Leading in the Spirit of Catherine,” nearly 70 associates and sisters participated in two leadership development workshops.
Mercy Sisters around the world have been lobbying their national politicians and civil servants to ensure they argue for the maintenance of the right to water, sanitation and food in the Rio + 20 final draft.
30 years of working with refugees have formed what Marilyn Lacey rsm calls her “ life stances” which she is sharing this week with staffs and students of Victorian and Western Australian Mercy schools, an outcome of the Dublin Mercy Youth pilgrimage.
