Mercy Day
On Sunday, 27 November, a large crowd of Sisters and friends of Mercy gathered at the Knock Hotel, Co. Mayo, Ireland for the launch of Walking Gently on Earth.
'Ever faithful God, you have never abandoned us. As we anticipate the feast of Christ's holy birth, keep us faithful to you in thought word and deed.'
Foundation Day was chosen by MIA for the formal end of our Year of Mercy activities, including the Mercy International Reflection Process, because of its connotations for us all of the new: new beginnings, new opportunities, new pathways, new outcomes.

Additional Mercy Resources Suitable for Use in the Jubilee Year
A number of Resources have been produced by Sisters of Mercy and partners-in-Mercy to aid our prayer and reflection in the Year of Mercy.
In preparation for closing the Year of Mercy, we invite you to practise your singing. Here we are providing the music for the songs in the ritual being offered for general use.
Prayer for the week 23-29 November
Wednesday, 23 November is #RedWednesday. Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) invites us to honour those who have suffered because of their religion, and to stand in solidarity with millions of people, targeted for their beliefs and living in fear
