Globally, an estimated 152 million children aged 5 to 17 are engaged in child labour
Garbage/Pollution was one of the significant issues raised during MIRP, with groups from 8 Mercy Congregations and Institutes reporting their reflections and actions to address this important issue (MIRP Report, p.6).

Degradation of Earth was a key concern of participants in the Mercy International Reflection Process, with MIRP groups focussing on issues including environmental devastation and sustainable living (MIRP Report p.6).
Action and contemplation is woven into the essence of who we are as women and men of Mercy.
