Mercy Day
Mercy Day celebrations this year mark 190 years to the day since the opening of the first House of Mercy, now Mercy International Centre.
Greetings should be sent to Mercyenews@mercyinternational.ie by Friday, 22 September to make sure they are published online for Mercy Day.
¡Feliz Día de la Misericordia! Happy Mercy Day!
This is a day of celebration.
We wish all of the Sisters of Mercy, Associates, and all those connected to Mercy a Happy Mercy day! We are having our “comfortable cup of tea” and thinking of all of our sisters and brothers all over the world.

Happy Mercy Day to all serving at Catherine's house. This greeting comes from a small but active group of young girls at St. Mary Academy-Bay View in Riverside, Rhode Island, USA. We belong to a school club called the Friends of Mercy. We are fourth and fifth graders who gather together to learn more about Mother McAuley and Frances Warde and to take actions to promote our Mercy values.
One of us visited Baggot Street this summer and was so happy to be in Catherine's house. Enjoy the day!

Happy Mercy Day, Sisters. We are sending you good wishes and maybe some nice sunny days!
Know you are in my prayers. Special greetings to Sr. Pat Kenny!

As we celebrate the 190th Mercy Day, Assumption High School, Louisville, Kentucky would like to share warm wishes of compassion and joy to our friends in the international Circle of Mercy. Assumption High School honored Mercy Day with a special all school celebration recognizing the Models of Mercy in our community and an alumna who received the “Who will tell the story?” medal. We also launched a new initiative called Compassion Connection which links our family groups to service agencies in our Louisville community.

Happy Mercy Day to the Mercy Family worldwide. The Sisters in Coolock House will remember you in our prayers and hope to welcome some of you to our house during the year. Our new audio addition to the heritage of Catherine McAuley in Coolock is proving very popular with visitors.
