Pray the Prayer for our Earth from Laudato Si' over 9 days: 10-18 June

18 June marks the second anniversary of the release of Laudato Si'. To maintain the momentum begun by the Mercy International Reflection Process, in 2017 18 June is one of the dates determined in the MIRP Review as 'pivotal moments for global communication and reflection'. We invite you to join us in reflection over 9 days.

Each day's reflection comprises: A verse and refrain from the Prayer for our Earth and a short video (1-3 minutes in length) in the form of a reflection, song or story. An invitation is extended to post a thought, feeling, reflection or prayer in our online prayer space - the Baggot Street chapel.

DAY ONE - 10 June All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures.	DAY TWO - 11 June Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty.
DAY THREE - 12 June Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one.	DAY FOUR - 13 June O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes.
DAY FIVE - 14 June Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it, that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.	DAY SIX - 15 June Touch the hearts of those who look only for gain at the expense of the poor and the earth.
DAY SEVEN - 16 June Teach us to discover the worth of each thing, to be filled with awe and contemplation, to recognize that we are profoundly united with every creature as we journey towards your infinite light.	DAY EIGHT - 17 June We thank you for being with us each day. Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle for justice, love and peace.
