Executive Director of Mercy International Association announced(MIA)

The Board of Directors of Mercy International Association is happy to announce that Sister Mary Reynolds (Ireland) has been named the Executive Director of MIA, effective March 1, 2009.

Mary has demonstrated strong leadership ability in her roles in Provincial and Congregational leadership as well as in various roles related to education and pastoral ministries. Currently Mary is Co-Director of the Education Desk of the Conference of Religious in Ireland (CORI). Mary possesses a style of leadership characterized by the importance of relationships, an integrated spirituality with a strong thrust for global justice, and a passion for the new vision of MIA.

The Board of Directors looks forward to an energizing and effective partnership with Mary beginning with an initial strategic planning process to occur in Burlingame, California in March 2009.
