Mercy Day
The sound of beautiful music filled Baggot Street on Thursday, 5 December when three students from the Royal Irish Academy of Music performed a lunchtime concert in the Chapel.

The pieces performed by Sayjin, Martina and Derek included Bach’s ‘Gigue Fugue’, and ‘Wachet Auf’; Buxtehude’s ‘Ciacona in E Minor’ and ‘Prelude in C’; Stanford’s ‘Prelude in G Minor’; and ‘Carillon’ by Vierne.
Mary Reynolds rsm, Executive Director of Mercy International Association, welcomed the three performers and their teachers, David Adams and Simon Stroughair, to the chapel at Baggot Street and thanked the musicians for sharing their talents and making such great use of the Telford organ.
On Foundation Day, 12 December, visitors to Baggot Street will have the opportunity to hear more beautiful music from the Royal Irish Academy of Music when Tetyana Vlasuik plays Bach’s ‘Goldberg Variations, Part I'
