Catherine McAuley Centre, 23 Herbert St, Dublin

The Catherine McAuley Centre is a thriving Women's Centre dedicated to the development, education and well being of women who are most in need in today's society. A varied range of services and support is offered both within the Centre and as part of its outreach work.

The Director we seek is someone who will manage the continued development of the Centre and successfully implement policy objectives and strategic decisions within the framework laid down by the Board. The Director will also develop the Centre's core services, foster good relations with statutory, voluntary and private bodies and encourage the motivation and development of staff and volunteers.

The ideal candidate, who can identify with the mission and ethos of the Centre, would possess the following:

  • 3rd level qualification relevant to the role or equivalent relevant experience preferably in the voluntary / community sector
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory management role
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

The appointment will be initially for a period of three years, renewable.

The salary, which will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be in the range €39,000 to €46,000.
