Global Frackdown Oct. 19, 2013 (MGA)

Hydraulic fracturing (fracking) is a major concern for Mercy International Association (MIA) and its member organisations. Mercy Sisters around the world have organised lobbying and campaigning on the issue. Reports of these activities have appeared in Mercy E-news.

This year we are asking Mercy sisters to participate in the 2013 Global Frackdown on Oct. 19. The Frackdown, organized by Food and Water Watch, is a series of events around the world calling attention to the environmental, health, earth and community effects of the fracking process.
