MIA Prayer Intention: Compassion for the Suffering

We pray with all those

whose basic needs go unfulfilled,
who are suffering from addictions,
who are struggling with chronic pain or terminal illnesses,
who yearn for permanent shelter,
who long for companionship,
who are estranged from their family or community,
who are grieving,
who are wrestling with life and death decisions for themselves or others.

Compassionate God, look with tenderness on their frailty.
