The Mercy International Research Commission

Elizabeth Davis (Newfoundland), Anne Hannon (Ireland), Mary Lyons (Ireland), Sophie McGrath (Australia), Mary Noel Menezes (Guyana), Elaine Wainwright (Australia/New Zealand), and Mary Sullivan (USA) -- met for the first time at the Convent of Mercy, Bermondsey, London, on January 10-11, 2005. The Commission aims to develop a broad and inclusive understanding of principles guiding Mercy research, encourage scholarly treatment of our world-wide resources, nurture the production of well-researched analyses, and promote, through dissemination of such research, our own ongoing conversion and the developing life of the church.
