Invitation to Join Our Prayers with those of Our Representatives in Rome for Divine Mercy Sunday

Editor: On Sunday, 3 April 2016, a small but representative group of Mercy pilgrims— Sisters, Associates and partners-in-Mercy— will be present in Rome for Divine Mercy Sunday, one of the events in the Vatican's Jubilee Year of Mercy Calendar. Mass will be celebrated in Saint Peter's Square with Pope Francis on this day, with other events taking place on 1-2 April.

The group of 39 pilgrims includes representatives from each of the 12 Mercy Congregations and Institutes with Mary Reynolds rsm, Executive Director MIA and Brenda Dolphin rsm (Postulator), co-leaders of the pilgrimage.

Those of us in the Mercy family in all other parts of the Mercy world on Divine Mercy Sunday are invited to use a prayer from one of the Stations of Mercy, which show the face of Mercy today to the world, and to pray personally or communally between 12 midday and 2pm our local time, thus participating in encircling the globe in prayer.
