Mercy Day
God you are our refuge and our strength, an ever present help in time of trouble
(Ps 46.1)
We pray for the deceased and wounded victims of the Belgium metro and airport tragedy; for their families and friends who love them, for their local communities and networks who know them as neighbours, colleagues, passers-by and co-workers.
We pray too for ourselves. Not one of us is unaffected. We are challenged once again in the face of violence and tragedy, grief and loss, anger and disbelief to remain people of mercy, people of hope.
Post your own Prayer or Reflection in our online Chapel
