Use of MIA Year of Mercy Logo

MIA has commissioned a Year of Mercy logo for use by Congregations and Institutes, ministries and communities in the lead up to and during the Year of Mercy. The logo is copyright to Mercy International Association.

The logo features the Burke bust of Catherine against a world map overlain with the Mercy cross and surrounded by contour lines. In cartography a contour line joins points of equal elevation above a given level. Here we are using contour lines to indicate the strength of our Mercy connections among and within the 44 countries and territories where Sisters of Mercy and partners-in-Mercy currently minister.

General guidelines for use of the logo

Use of the logo is reserved for promoting the Year of Mercy and coverage of the Year of Mercy among Sisters of Mercy and partners-in-Mercy .

The logo must be reproduced in its entirety (symbol plus words) and without alteration but may be reduced in size.

The logo may be reproduced in black and white.

The logo should be reproduced with the following credit: © Mercy International Association 2015
