Making Ready for the Young Mercy Leaders’ Pilgrimage: 'It begins with you'

The Young Mercy Leaders’ Pilgrimage begins today, 14 July, in Mercy International Centre, Dublin. A very big welcome - Céad Míle Fáilte - to the young people and their teachers/chaperones who have come from: Australia, Ireland - North and South, United Kingdom, USA, and Belize!

The theme of this pilgrimage is 'It starts with you' and we have absolutely no doubt that it will be a new beginning for all the participants and that it will be a transforming event in their young lives. We look forward to sharing with them, learning from them and experiencing their energy, enthusiasm and idealism. The international mix of both participants and presenters will enrich the whole event.

The staff and volunteers at Mercy International Centre have been ‘on their toes’ preparing a big welcome for our young Mercy Leaders who have arrived in Dublin for a very full programme and some fun over the next four days.

All is now ready. The centrepiece is in place, the chairs are out and there are a few mysterious pieces awaiting the Welcome Ritual - when all will be revealed. The enthusiasm and excitement can be felt here in MIC. Watch this space!
