MIA Prayer Intention for the Coming Week: Attack on Garissa University College

MIA joins with the Sisters of Mercy in Kenya in prayers for the tragic loss of life of the 147 people killed and the scores injured in the attack by Al-Shabaab on Garissa University College on Holy Thursday. May these and all the dead rest in peace in the sure hope of the Resurrection.

We pray with the victims, their colleagues, relatives, the Kenyan people and all who mourn the deceased, for an end to violence and bloodshed.

May this Easter Season of hope and new life bring about a new beginning of justice, mercy and peace in the many places in our world where there is violence and conflict.
