Renovations at Mercy International Centre

Mercy International Centre has undergone a facelift in time for the 20th anniversary celebrations.

Early in November 2013 work began to repair the facades facing Baggot Street and Herbert Street.  This work entailed erecting scaffolding, repairing and repainting all windows by removing the windows, repairing and painting the external facades, repairing a stained glass window facing Herbert Street, some roof repairs and replacing the lettering on the portico.

The very mild autumn enabled the project to be completed ahead of time leaving just a few finishing touches to be done in January. Curtains throughout the Centre have been washed or dry-cleaned with the ‘friendly’ builders helping to get the curtains down as well as re-hanging them.
