Mercy Day
On the 170th anniversary of Catherine’s death there will be a continuous ‘Good Cup of Tea’ and scones at Mercy International Centre from 10.00am to 2.30pm. Mass will be celebrated at 3.00pm in the Chapel at Baggot Street and will be followed by afternoon tea. Patrick Hume SJ will be the celebrant.
In the spirit of the day a donation will be gratefully received. All our Mercy friends are invited to celebrate the life and legacy of Catherine McAuley and to raise funds for the ongoing work of Mercy International Association.

On the 180th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Mercy, Mass will be celebrated at George’s Hill at 12 midday. Lunch will be served at Mercy International Centre from 1.30pm.

Directions to George’s Hill which is just off Mary’s Lane between Capel & Church Streets:
LUAS – Take the LUAS to the Four Courts stop and walk north one block to Mary’s Lane.
BUS – From the south – 37, 39, 39a or 70 to Stop 1443 at Essex Quay, junction Lower Exchange Street. Cross the Liffey River and keep walking north to Mary’s Lane. From the north – 145, 25, 25A, 25B, 26, 37, 39, 39A or 51 to Stop 1477 at Arran Quay near corner of Church Street. Walk north on Church St to Mary’s Lane. Bus 83 stops at the corner of Church St and Mary’s Lane.
