Letter to all members of the U.S. Congress concerning possible U.S. Military Action in Iraq

Presidents of the 25 regional communities and members of the Institute Leadership Team signed a letter to Members of the Congress on October 8, 2002. They urged senators and representatives not to support Authorization of Force Resolution (S46, HR 114), to support resumption and completion of United Nations weapons inspections, and to insist that action against Iraq not be taken without UN Security Council approval.
