Mercy Vocational School visits MGC

Mercy Vocational School Philadelphia made a special visit to United Nations headquarters on Thursday March 24, 2011.

About 44 students and staff from this vocational school which educates "tomorrow's workforce" were addressed by Sister Deirdre Mullan, Director of Mercy Global Concern. Deirdre called on all present to embrace a wider and wider circle of concern and encouraged the students to envision a world were we are Global Citizens.

The students enjoyed a tour of United Nations headquarters and before returning to Philadelphia enjoyed a 'comfortable cup of tea' hosted by Mercy Global Concern.
