There was standing room only for the Conference entitled: Are Women Human? a panel discussion which included Roselyn Cosantino - Women and Violence from Guatemala. Roselyn works and advocates to implement SC resolution 1325; 1820; and 1888. Lee Ann De Reus - spoke on Women and Violence - Stories from the Congo. Lee Ann is the co-founder of a non-profit organization to help women and girls who have survived the genocide in DRC to have medical help for fiscula.

Carol Rittner Overview

Carol Rittner rsm, gave an overview of the topic - Women and Violence and challenged all presence to commit ourselves and resources to act in solidarity with the economically poor of the world, especially women and children and women seeking fullness of life and equality in church and society.
