Organ Recital at MIC

The Board of Management of Mercy International Centre met on Friday, 15 May 2009 for their final gathering. The meetings were followed by dinner and an Organ Recital. MIA members and MIA Board of Directors joined them in the events.

Paul McKeever,organist at Adam & Eve's, Dublin and organ scholar at the University of Limerick was the guest organist for the evening. Paul's programme was divided into three parts, Organ Music without a Religious Theme, Organ Music with a Religious Theme: Chorale Preludes and Organ Music for the Theatre and Arrangements of the Pops. Paul is no stranger to MIC as he composed the Telford Voluntaries for the rededication of 1844 Telford organ in 1998.
