Mercy Day
The Mercy Global Concern Board meeting which was held recently in New York had an interesting session where some new plans were formulated. An example of this is the recent addition of Kathy Kelleher from the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas Justice Desk who will follow the issue of Immigration at the United Nations. Noeleen Heyzer, the Chief Executive Officer of UNIFEM, is delighted at the partnering of the United Nations Women's Fund with the Sisters of Mercy in theproject to trace the relatives of children orphaned in the tsunami. More details to follow
