Local Government March Past

Pupils from the Sister Mary Aloysius College of Mercy, Ebony State, Nigeria won 1st place in the March Past. The school has been built in Memory of sister Mary Aloysius (Cathleen Manning) of the Barnsley Community who befriended a poor Nigerian boy many years ago. The boy, Boniface Ezaegu, is now a State Barrister and, with his wife, visited the Generalate recently to share the news of the School.

There are now 150 Students; classrooms are in use (though there are just spaces for the doors and windows!); the clinic is open; and the residential blocks are being planned.
