MIA Prayer Intention for the Coming Week: Victims of Suicide

10 September is World Suicide Prevention Day. The World Health Organisation (WHO)  estimates that over 800,000 people die by suicide each year – that’s one person every 40 seconds - and that 25 times that number attempt it.

Let us pray in these moments for all those contemplating suicide, that they might find new courage to face their anguish.

Let us pray also with those brereaved by suicide - for the family, friends and communities who have been left bereft and grieving.
