Mercy International Reflection Process: Key Events

The following are key dates in the Mercy International Reflection Process–

8 December, 2015:  The Reflection Process begins with the commencement of the Extraordinary Year of Mercy.

An invitation to participate in a global circle of prayer on this day is forthcoming. All Sisters and partners-in-Mercy will be invited to pray the prayer for the earth/Oración por nuestra Tierra on this day.

13 December, Third Sunday in Advent:  Symbolic Opening of Baggot Street Doors.
A simple ritual will be provided in November for use by Mercy ministries and communities to use in ritually opening your local door of Mercy.

COP21. 30 November - 11 December. While not a key date in the Mercy International Reflection Process, COP 21, also known as the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, with its aim of achieving a legally binding and universal agreement on climate, is a significant event in this time of preparation.
We will be inviting all Sisters and partners-in-Mercy to pray the prayer for the earth/Oración por nuestra Tierra during these days. Further information is forthcoming
