Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, used her inheritance in service of the needs of her time. Today, Sisters of Mercy, through Mercy International Association, use their resources to respond to issues of global poverty demonstrated in the massive displacement of persons worldwide...This vision keeps alive the founding spirit of Catherine among peoples of the world most in need of God's compassion and mercy.

Wellsprings 2012: Ray Maria McNamara (MIA)

This week's video presentations, the final in the series, are from Ray Maria McNamara rsm and were given during the fourth week of the Wellsprings 2012 renewal programme (July 22-27).

'At this stage of my life,' said Ray Maria to the group, 'I've finally come to a point where I've been able to integrate - through my studies as well my ministries -  my love of God with my love of the earth and that's what I've come here to share.'

Two clips are presented for viewing and reflection in which Ray Maria raises and explores her topic “For the Love of God: Mercy Spirituality in the Context of Ecological Urgency”. These clips should be viewed in order  (Day 1 Introduction, Day 1 Session 1).
