Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, used her inheritance in service of the needs of her time. Today, Sisters of Mercy, through Mercy International Association, use their resources to respond to issues of global poverty demonstrated in the massive displacement of persons worldwide...This vision keeps alive the founding spirit of Catherine among peoples of the world most in need of God's compassion and mercy.

Wellsprings 2012: Elaine Wainwright (MIA)

This week we have presentations from Elaine Wainwright rsm which were given during the second week of the Wellsprings 2012 renewal programme (July 8-13).

'The story of embodied mercy, the gospel story, is also our story' says Elaine.

Two clips are presented for viewing and reflection in which Elaine raises and explores the theme of embodied mercy in Matthew's gospel. These clips should be viewed sequentially (Day 1 Introduction, Day 5 Session 1).
