Poverty and Climate Change: Voices from Government, The Grassroots, and NGOs (MGC)

The 49th Session Commission For Social Development 9-18 February 2011 on Poverty Eradication is involving a number of events at the UN.

One well attended workshop side event , held yesterday,(14 February) was organized by the Working Group on Poverty and Climate Change, NGO Subcommittee on Poverty Eradication. Among the sponsors is Mercy International Association, represented at the United Nations by Mercy Global Concern.

Deirdre Mullan rsm was the Moderator for this event which was very well received.
